1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Doggevity™ ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and members.
2. What Doggevity Is — and Is Not
Doggevity is an educational and wellness-support platform for dog owners. All content, tools, scores, and recommendations are for informational and educational purposes only.
Doggevity is not a veterinary service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing on this platform should be interpreted as a substitute for professional veterinary care. Always consult a licensed veterinarian before making changes to your dog's diet, medications, supplements, or care routine.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at hello@doggevity.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Memberships and Billing
Subscription plans: Doggevity offers Free and paid membership tiers (Premium and Founding Member). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
Cancellation: You may cancel your paid membership at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then.
Refunds: We offer a 7-day refund window for new paid subscriptions. If you are unsatisfied within 7 days of your first charge, contact us at hello@doggevity.com for a full refund. After 7 days, charges are non-refundable. We reserve the right to issue refunds at our discretion for exceptional circumstances.
Price changes: We will provide at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription pricing for existing members.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Doggevity to:
- Post false, misleading, or harmful content
- Harass or harm other users or their pets
- Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content without permission
- Use the platform for any commercial purpose without our written consent
6. Content and Intellectual Property
All Doggevity content, including text, tools, scores, graphics, and educational materials, is protected by copyright and owned by Doggevity™. You may use content for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Data you enter (your dog's health logs, notes, etc.) remains yours. You grant Doggevity a limited license to store and display that data to power your experience on the platform.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doggevity disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Doggevity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or reliance on any content herein. Our maximum liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
8. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Platform at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes to paid members.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
